Bellini's Italiano Park Place

My husband and I had the tasting menu with matched Icon wines - it was splendid. The stand-out dish for me was the salt marsh lamb with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, pea puree and a jus. Every mouthful was just stunning. It&#39;s not the cheapest restaurant but I believe the quality of the food justified the price. I would recommend this place for those who love good food. The reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that I reserve those for only the most outstanding places and although the food was outstanding, the whole experience wasn&#39;t. The decor of the restaurant needs serious updating. It&#39;s like an old gentleman&#39;s club but it&#39;s tired, not just old fashioned. The glasses needed an extra polish - in fact one was not really clean and another had water spots on it. I know that&#39;s being picky, but to me those finer points are important when you are spending 300 quid for dinner for two. The maitre d&#39; is probably not to everyone&#39;s taste - occasionally almost verging on rude but quite funny. He seemed as if he was reeling off a learnt script with the course descriptions, however, rather than genuinely understanding what he was saying. The same too of the sommelier who is very young - pleasant but perhaps without that air of authority you would expect. Having said that, it was a wonderful *food* experience and I cannot fault them on the food itself - delightful, well-presented, with just the right amount. I will remember the evening - and for the right reasons: the food.

I won a raffle at an event and it was breakfast for four at taste buds. I hadn&#39;t been before but I will definitely be returning. We were made very welcome. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast arrived very quickly and hot. The quality of the food was very good. We had full English breakfast. They were good sized portions. We looked at all the prices on the menu they were excellent, I think they are one of the cheapest cafes I&#39;ve been to in Cardiff with out the quality of food and service being compromised. They had quite a few meal deals. Including afternoon tea and cake. Making really good saving, making an afternoon cuppa and cake affordable to all walks of life. It clearly shows that this cafe isn&#39;t just about making profit there is a passion for what they do and it clearly reflects in the atmosphere in the cafe. Well worth a visit if you like a good sized plate of food and quick service with a lovely ambiance about the place

Cardiff was originally a small place, and in recent years, it was with Cardiff University in Cardiff City in a large number of Chinese students that Chinese restaurants and Asian Japanese restaurants opened and survived. In September 2019, I sent my classmates to Cardiff University to report. I read the introduction of another website and found this local restaurant that left Kaidiff University for about 20 minutes. At meal time, the store was empty... Seeing that the local ranking is the first...? The taste is very unpalatable and the price is very expensive! The surrounding environment is a bit messy, it is recommended that single boys and girls go carefully at night!
